PRESS RELEASE
January 2009 For Immediate Release
QuickSil Installed
Santa Barbara Analysis, the developers of WIPtrac MES Shop Floor Control Manufacturing Execution Software,
today announced the Installation of WIPtrac for QuickSil Inc. QuickSil is a provider of quick turn wafer
foundry services to the semiconductor industry providing exceptional control and response to customer needs
and WIPtrac is a key technology partner in providing that kind of service for QuickSil customers.
One person working across three months, 30% of the time, has configured and started WIPtrac operations at QuickSil and now
they have all their product running on WIPtrac. QuickSil has installed all modules for WIPtrac and are taking advantage
of SPC, Equipment, Serial tracking and document linking in their installation.
"QuickSil was an interesting installation in that one person took on almost the entire responsibility to do the actual
configuration work", according to Daniel Clark, Director of Communications for Santa Barbara Analysis. "Ease of setup
is one of the critical pieces when you have shallow resources and need to get something done. And WIPtrac excels on
that stage", he continued. "With WIPtrac you can get the functionality without having to sacrifice for it."
